The Riding School

Bygdø Royal Manor runs a riding school for beginners to slightly advanced riders. All the riding takes place at our three outdoor riding arenas and in the immediate area around the farm. We do not do riding at a competitive level.

Our offer is an introduction to horses and riding as a hobby. We can take you to a level where you learn enough to enjoy these great animals for the rest of your life.

Where to find us

From Frogner/Skøyen: Take the first road to the left after Bygdøylokket, Wedel's road. Then take the first road to the right at the large riding arena. Then you will see the stables about 200 meters further up the road. Red building with HM King Harald's emblem on the building.
From Bygdøy: Take the last road to the right before Bygdøylokket, Wedel's road. Then take the first road to the right at the large riding arena. Then you will see the stables about 200 meters further up the road. Red building with HM King Harald's emblem on the building.
There is no drive-through across the farmyard at the entrance to the barn. Use Wedel's road.
