Bygdøy Kongsgård is Oslo’s largest organic milk producer, featuring a visitor farm, riding school, organic food production, and a greenhouse. We showcase both modern and historical agriculture and are uniquely located in central Oslo on Bygdøy.

Bygdø Royal Manor is an arena in Stiftelsen Norsk Folkemuseum.

The property is owned by the state. H.M. The King disposes of the main building and Oscarshall Castle with associated parks, while Stiftelsen Norsk Folkemuseum has the right to dispose of the farm.

Bygdø Royal Manor covers 2000 decares including forest and shoreline, of which 740 decares are cultivated land where feed is produced for the livestock on the farm.

Sustainability

Bygdø Kongsgård's goal is for the operation of the farm to be based on its own resources to the greatest extent possible and reflect the cycles in nature.

Debio Certification
The farming, horticulture, and livestock at Bygdøy Kongsgård are managed organically and are Debio-approved. The Nursery eatery has Debio’s Gold Label and an organic share of approximately 98%.
