Find your way

The Nursery is located at Museumsveien 15 on Bygdøy, approximately 5 km from the center of Oslo.

  • Bus: 30 Bygdøy from Oslo city center. The Nursery is located between the stops Kongsgården and the Folk Museum. (Check the routes at ruter.no)
  • Car/bike/on foot: From the E18 or Bygdøy Allé, turn off to Bygdøy. 
  • Ferry (during summer seasons only): From the City Hall to Dronningen. From there 15 min. gait. Departures every 20 minutes.
  • Parking: Limited parking right outside the gate to the Nursery as well as municipal parking outside the main entrance to the Norsk Folkemuseum. Fee every day 08:00 - 20:00.

The nursery is part of the farm at Bygdø Royal Manor. Our diverse horticultural operation is closely connected to the farm, creating a harmonious cycle between soil, plants, animals, and people. At the Nursery, you can explore this connection through hands-on courses, inspiring seminars, exhibitions, and a café that showcases the very best products from Bygdø Royal Manor. We also work closely with local agencies, organizations, and community groups to bring our farm to life for everyone.
