Guided tours for families

We welcome schools and kindergartens to a guided tour of Bygdø Royal Manor. Here you get to experience everything from spring lambing and early summer grazing to autumn crops and pre-Christmas atmosphere in the barns and stables.

At Bygdø Royal Manor we have dairy cows, calves, sheep and ponies. We also have pigs of the Norwegian Landsvin/Duroc crossbreed, Canadian mini pigs, various chicken breeds and rabbits.

Bygdø Royal Manor runs a riding school for beginners to slightly advanced riders. All the riding takes place at our three outdoor riding arenas and in the immediate area around the farm. We do not do riding at a competitive level.

Our vision is an organic and urban agriculture, where the cycles between the soil, plants, animals and people are at the center. The nursery conveys these values through courses, seminars, exhibitions, café offerings and an adapted hiking area for the whole family. The Nursery is part of the farm at Bygdø Royal Manor.

We offer good bakery products, buttered sandwiches and sandwiches. Buns and soft drinks for the children. We have good organic quality coffee and tea, as well as good beer and good wines. Café Rohdeløkken is located in scenic surroundings in Wedels vei 2 on Bygdøy.

At Bygdø Royal Manor, we are proud to have Oslo's only dairy farm! We make cheese the artisanal way from completely fresh organic milk from our own cows!
